Shana’s Story

My leadership journey began in childhood with my parents who taught me the value of being genuine and authentic in my relationships, pursuing my dreams and passions, as well as the power of determination.  

I also followed some core mantras: You are what you think, never give up, if you think you can – you can, which continue to serve me today.  

My passion and determination were key to putting myself through college (first generation graduate) while working full time, running an ultra-marathon, and travelling the world. My story has been full of highs and lows. In my pursuit and passion to live life to the fullest, I have personally faced the challenges of near burnout and continue to enjoy the continuous and constant journey.  

Professionally I’ve had incredible leaders and mentors. The late Ken Gaudreau, former fortune 500 Executive transformed my life. Ken empowered and invested in me early in my career, opening the door to incredible opportunities and prosperity and taught me the power of unleashing the potential in others, staying true to myself and never compromising what’s most important in life.  

I apply these same important principles in Erickson Leadership by Design – elevating others and developing extraordinary leaders.
